Montreal has an incredible, vibrant Jewish community, young and old. I think one of the reasons for our success is our large Sephardic community who really inhabit a sense of community and belonging through all the generations.
Try Ventura County. Not "L.A." but full of culture, community, small towns, nature, mountains, the ocean, organic farmers markets, craft fairs, food celebrations, wineries and micro-brews, and Jewish communities (at least two Chabad centers). Even green arrows to make safe left-hand turns.
