If Witkoff is not an intentional distraction, Trump should take him off the case.

Taxpayers should never fund universities, especially the ivies. Ridiculous.

Private universities want it both ways: Taxpayer money, but no constraints by the government. They do not believe they are obliged to obey the laws of the land. State universities are largely funded by states, and they know that they must not irritate state governments too much. But they too demand "academic independence," as if anything they do, however unlawful or immoral, is sacred and may not be questioned by "outsiders."

Everything Witkoff touches turns into something Biden wanted. It's remarkable.

The question is could Qatar be whispering in Witkoff's ear?

Mohsen Mahdawi has apparently also been a “student” for nearly 16 years!

Good riddance.

Harvard is playing the old, “if we say this enough it will become true.”

They are shamelessly pretending that Federal funding (for anyone or anything, not just Harvard), doesn’t come with a plethora of strings.

It is all grandstanding performed upon sand.

They are counting on people, including those in the federal government, to be as stupid as most of the graduates of Harvard actually are.

Here’s a great video from a few years back of Camille Paglia expounding upon the devastation being wreaked upon these lofty Cathedrals of Woke for their grotesque dereliction of duty.

It seems "free speech" has devolved into promoting violence, discrimination and leaking confidential discussion. Since I did not attend Harvard or Columbia, I am unable to comprehend this more nuanced contexual version which sounds like "do as I say". Or else.

Park are you Canadian? The use of “file” is consistent! Great as always, I don’t have anything else to add but to tease you gently over the word choice, and flatter Canada in what is otherwise a time of deep shame.

As a Canadian resident and citizen, I have to ask whether Canada will survive. As pretty much everyone agrees, it is "broken." It appears to me that, if the (illiberal) Liberals are elected again, Canada will not survive. And, if it elects the Liberals again, it doesn't deserve to.

Canada AND the UK!

Very scary situations.

It’ll survive, it’ll just be very bad, and the US will take the gloves off if we’re still a security threat.

Fwiw: 2 Canuckian tidbits... saw a title but didn't watch it called Canada: America's greatest security threat today

and during WW1 the Canadian troops were known for being brutally effective, savagely murderous and shrugged when done with their hand to hand combat but eliciting stares from fellow allied forces for their knife and physicality skills

We have a history and identity to rebuild from, but we’ve been lavishly debasing ourselves and our past to feel good about our decline.

I cannot fathom what men muster at those times from what reservoirs within, and to move back into normal life afterwards 😳

In Minneapolis Temple Israel has a very large world war I memorial wall and the amount of names & young ages of those we lost are unfathomable similar to my grasp of how it started. My conclusions are close cousins are a musty bickersome bunch and that's Europe with variations to allow for nuance and inbreeding

Canada has two provinces leaning toward separation and independence. Carney is hell bent on alienating Alberta and any other like-minded province. Carney himself would impoverish Canada through his zero emissions fanaticism, but with Alberta gone, there would be no one to transfer money to keep the dormant provinces running.

I am increasingly beginning to believe that Witikoff is being used like a sacrificial canary in a coal mine. He’s sent out, usually first, on these missions merely to sniff out sentiments from whatever parties are involved with whatever issues, but not to actually accomplish anything material, just to get the sense and feel of where everyone’s head may be at the moment.

Then he flies back to the roost to report, and make “statements” which sometimes bare no resemblance to reality. .

That’s how it seems to be fleshing out anyway by the time any actual decision-making occurs.
