Regarding "good people on both sides, where have we heard that before," President Trump was referring to those on both sides of the question of whether to remove Civil War commemorative statues, not the disorders that took place in Charlottesville. This was of course misrepresented by our leftist press, and lives on as a false meme. Sorry to see The Scroll not being more careful.

The Scroll makes a very good statement. A statement better than many statements by other blogs on Substack. It's probably one of the best statements anyone ever stated in the history of statements.

No, Trump was explicitly talking about the Charllotesville demonstration that resulted in the death of one and scores of others injured. There's no question about that. Further there was nobody at the "Unite the Right" rally innocently under any illusion it was about anything other than white supremacy. Trump repeatedly described the counter-protesters, mainly citizens of Charlottesville with with a minor contingent of ANTIFA types as equally culpable for the violence that occurred at a rally organized by white nationalists, neo-Nazis and Klansman with an inexhaustive list comprising of such peaceful groups as : Stormer Book Clubs (SBCs) of The Daily Stormer, The Right Stuff, the National Policy Institute, the Nationalist Front, the neo-Confederate League of the South and Identity Dixie, the neo-Nazi groups Traditionalist Worker Party, Vanguard America, and the National Socialist Movement. The Loyal White Knights and the Confederate White Knights branches of the KKK along with the Fraternal Order of Alt-Knights.

The far right fascist folks have been ugly cretins for decades and will never change. HOWEVER, they are NOT the majority of Conservatives, unlike on the Left- they have always been redneck, fringe-dwelling trash. Your hypocrisy is stunning- Donald Trumps daughter and son in law are Orthodox Jews. He needs votes just like Joe Biden, and both of them are going to pander to whatever base they have. And your foul base is not better than my foul base.

This administration is as woke as it gets in issuing a statement relying in moral equivalence about the anti Semitic riots and investigations of ISF units based on the allegations of equally woke or self hating Jewish groups

OK, Thank you. Just wanted to be sure it wasn’t getting blocked or “shadow banned” from my email. These days, ya never know!

Much appreciated.

There should be a Chapter 11 type reorganization for universities but without the debt forgiveness: new management comes in, rejects previous tenure obligations, streamlines personnel and devises a new business plan.

As a convert to Judaism I am disgusted with the craven desire of many Jews to be included- via the Democratic Party - at any cost - to be part of the assumed elite, or The Better Class of People, as my grandmother would have said.

Bill Ackerman and Robert Kraft can complain all they want, after looking the other way for decades and paying people who despise them, to have their names on buildings- but at the end of the day, they are still considered dirty Jews. Look at what happened to Nissim de Camondo in France during WW2.

It's pathetic and they are fools to think that acceptance will ever come. These people will pocket your check all day long, but you will never be ok. Can you imagine the use of that wasted money if they had donated to CAMERA, or MEMRI, Stop Antisemitism, or AIPAC or any other Jewish anti- propaganda organization at the front line of fighting back?? Mind boggling. And liberal Jews STILL vote for this, while vaping Zyklon B. It really is utter cowardice.
