It's not any questioning that advances science and Joe Rogan gave a platform to ignorant and dishonest questions.

He is guilty of making the situation worse, and as such, is not quite the innocent that could be a scapegoat.

He'd just facing the legitimate consequences of his stupid actions.

If 3 minutes if the stuff Rogan puts out on Israel was on npr your crew would be in heavy "witch hunt" mode

I think this is the real take on the trend. And, while familiar with Girard, I did not make the link, which seems obvious now, to the dark origin of this form of scapegoating and the accelerator effect social media has upon its application.
