John Brennan has been so brazen in his lying over the last 8 years that he truly doesn’t care at this point. He’s probably been thinking “Yeah Taibbi and Shellenberger are going to figure this out, won’t do a damn bit of difference though since the mainstream media will never reference it.”
Jews are the smartest people in the world yet keep failing to learn one single simple lesson: all forms of utopian universalist egalitarianism—whether Marxist, socialist, Social Justice etc—will always at some point consider Jews their greatest enemy because Jews are the strongest example of particularism, ie. a single people with a single faith and single god hoping to have their own single, separate homeland. For all Leftists, Jews are an intolerable enemy because they always stubbornly refuse to have their faith and traditions boiled down into a thin gruel so it can melt more easily into their univeralist one-world fantasies.
I know that an entire people comprised of millions of different humans from different places can't be expected to come to the same conclusion, and I know that in the past socialist universalism seemed a solution for Jews to escape their eternal predicament as hated outsiders, but 100 yrs after the Soviet Revolution the facts are obvious: Leftists will always hate and resent you and will eventually get around to trying to destroy you. Utopian universalism demands nothing less.
I find it so interesting that otherwise extremely smart people never realized that their "friends" were never allies or supporters. But used their friendship to provide cover for their Jew hatred.
The writing was on the wall decades ago. Too bad the progressive left Jewish community had forgotten how to read. Instead they spent time whining on social media how tired they were to keep having to defend themselves or begging their "allies" to listen to them. It was beyond pathetic.
I stopped counting the amount of times I was called a "racist" by these Jews who bought into the illiberal left for pointing out the obvious when it came to antisemitism. I am also waiting for the apologies I am owed...But I am not holding my breath.
Yes, I love how they had to establish that they were the “right” kind of Israelis: why they even boycott their fellow citizens who live beyond the ‘67 borders! I had an ex-pat Israeli tour guide in Barcelona who told me that Bibi was a greater threat to Israel than Hamas was. I wonder how he’s feeling now…
This past Rosh Hashana a rabbi during the service that I streamed online, from a prominent synagogue, gave an entire sermon about how the Chabad and messianism was the greatest threat to the Jewish People. I was so disgusted. (Personally I am less than a practicing Reform Jew. I am just me) I wanted to write a letter right then and there castigating him for his lashon hara, but decided that this rabbi in his hubris would not care what I had to say. Then Oct. 7 happened. I had the same thoughts you did about the tour guide. Wonder how this rabbi feels now....
October 7 and the massive uprise in anti Semitism its aftermath has led to a massive rethinking of positions once held as non-negotiable throughout the Jewish community.
Hopefully, the Republicans will hold extensive hearings on the binder which will demonstrate illegal actions on the part of Brennan and the intelligence community in domestic espionage and election interference and as the creator of the false narrative known as Russia collusion

Glaringly omitted from ALL of the negotiated ceasefire requirements since the war began, instigated by the Aggressor, Hamas, has been the call for the unconditional surrender of Hamas in total, and the immediate release of ALL the hostages, the two most critical missing elements which would in effect, if they were to be met, bring the war to an immediate end.
