Holding two opposing thoughts in my head at the same time, RE: Aaron Bushnell.

1) He’s front runner for this year's Darwin Award.

2) Very sad for his friends and family left behind. Suicide sucks.

I recall my time in the US Military (pre social media) there was screening for this sort of thing. Can't catch it all...

Sounds like a sick bunch gathering at the WHO for that transgender kumbaya. How many of the 20 were from EU countries? Governments there having 2nd thoughts on the insanity (UK, Sweden, Norway, France)

Untreated/mistreated mental illness in both cases makes for more suffering.

Re: the article “Universities Are Making Us Dumber”

The major hurdle I see to even beginning to reverse the corruption of thought on campuses is the Left’s refusal to even admit anything’s wrong with their methodologies, much less their having any willingness to even debate about it.

It has been essentially a creeping “coup of the colleges”.

You will have to shut them down and start from scratch, which may or may not even be possible, and/or create alternative colleges that will offer powerful competition in the arena of ideas, which would eventually - hopefully - force them to change or go bust. That, while potentially doable, would cost a heaping bundle, and take a great deal of time.

In the meantime, the very least that should be happening, and what must happen on a massive scale, is for parents and scholarship programs to do their due diligence and refuse to send their kids to these brainwashing factories masquerading as institutes of learning.

Fifty percent of students doing Masters degrees at Australian universities are foreign students, and a third of PhD students. That's across the board. Some of the tutorials aren't even in English! Many of the students have poor English skills. It makes a mockery of the standards here as of course, nobody fails.

An airman who never should have been serving in the USAF, Ms Bertrand who is a flack not a reporter on national security issues and the WHO, which whitewashed Beijing's responsibility for Covid and now is engaged in junk medicine both are illustrative of how elites function in today's political and moral universe

DEI has linked up with the philosophy that borders and nations shouldn’t exist, America is not special but rather guilty, and we should be rendered powerless to defend ourselves, our culture, our history and our memory. It would be equivalent to our inviting in soviet scientists to our schools and tech companies during the Cold War.
