Trump has often spoken softly to bad guys while using a big stick. His actions with Russia in first term (my friend Vladimir combined with very stiff sanctions) for example. Is he in the process of doing the same with Iran now?

“ You can [please] some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not [please] all of the people all of the time.”

This pretty accurately describes Trump’s efforts at staffing at all the various depts. - everybody’s got a favorite, or at the least an opinion.

But Trump is still very much the same Trump with regard to his stance on Israel, some of his personnel picks notwithstanding, and it is most assuredly premature to believe his policies will be much different than during his first administration.

His second term is coming in at a time where the pieces on the game board are all in very different places, and far more belligerent.

He is keeping his cards close to his vest, especially with regard to Iran, but once he has all

his people firmly in place things will gel quickly, and the first ones to feel the effects of that are going to America’s enemies: Iran in particular.

The bottom line is that Trump listens to what his advisors tell him but makes up his own mind He is not a captive either of the neoconservatives or the isolationists and his policies so far except for the ceasefire have been excellent

That’s why I am more and more convinced that allowing for that crap deal to even happen was two-fold: for Israel to get the hostages back, as many alive as humanly possible, and use that time to rearm and regroup.

After that, all bets are off, and so are the handcuffs on Israel.

Using the phases trans women and trans men is super confusing. If 15% of federal inmates in women's prisons are trans identifying, then certainly some of those would be actual women who identify as men. I have not yet heard of a case where a trans identifying female has been housed in a male prison. In 2021, Keeping Prisons Single Sex USA put in a FOIA request and found that around 50% of trans identifying male prisoners in federal prisons are sex offenders https://usa.kpssinfo.org/how-many-males-are-in-womens-prisons/ . This statistic is similar in the UK. Trans identifying males commit sex offenses at much higher rates than males who do not identify as trans. Housing males in female prisons is cruel and unusual punishment. About 13% of male prisoners in federal prisons are sex offenders. https://www.bop.gov/about/statistics/statistics_inmate_offenses.jsp

If there are 750 men who say they are women in federal prison, seems like that’s enough to have a prison just for them. It could be called the Lord of the Flies prison and I bet the herd would be culled.

The only thing bizarre about Qatar joining the Abraham Accords is The Scroll editorial staff’s inability to imagine it.

Are you also imagining Hamas and Hezbollah joining the Abraham Accords? What don't you understand about the war against Israel being a religious war?

Musk is an eccentric oddball genius, and does oddball eccentric genius stuff. He visited Israel right after October 7th to express support, met with Bibi, and has donated to various Holocaust connected charities. He accompanied Ben Shapiro on a trip to Auschwitz, donning a yarmulke and praying at the site. Not the actions of an antisemite.

As for the nazi salute, did AOC condemn hamas when en masse they do the nazi salute? No, she expresses support for them, if not directly, then by her constant criticism of Israel. How about when Kamala Harris, Taylor Swift, AOC, and many individuals one would not accuse of being nazis have made the same gesture. Musk is a big Trump supporter so anything oddball or questionable he does becomes fodder for Trump haters.

Appreciate your comments and we share at least one thing in common. I too am a Democrat, but conservative, so politically homeless. Democrats like John Fetterman and Richie Torres make me think there is room in the party for my viewpoints. But the party attracts left leaning anti-semites, they feel quite at home there. They feel safe expressing their animosity towards Jews under the more socially acceptable Anti-Zionism umbrella. We agree on one thing about Trump. Loyalty matters. He values loyalty in the present day, doesn't matter if they disliked him in the past. He is forgiving that way. Case in point is V.P. J.D. Vance, who disliked Trump immensely several years ago, but drank that wonderful Kool Aid that clears the mind. Cheers!

"Tikkun Olam" is what people of Jewish heritage say to justify their conversion to the Progressive Religion. See them demonstrating with Hamas-supporters against Israel.
