Hopefully the students in question will either be deported or spend time in the luxurious accommodations at Gitmo

Please, no. Canada is already overrun with Hamas enthusiasts and would-be terrorists.

Anyone whoever thought this was going to be easy needs to do a serious rethink.

We are, for all intents and purposes, engaged in a war against a thoroughly deformed government apparatus that has fallen so far off the rails that it believed spending millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars for things like promoting male circumcision in Malawi, was not just a good idea, but part of its job.

The task to set this ship of state right for this administration is Herculean, and it’s only just begun.

Buckle up.

The thing is that there is always ridiculous spending in governmet because politicians who write those bills have wealthy constiuents who want favors. The idea of sending out condoms was probably pork to help the Trojan condom manufacturer. I don't know why they give money for circumcision unless there was a religious group in that country that gives money to a politician. There is not a dime in the budget that isn't spent to help a politician keep his seat. Trump was even more greedy at selling favors.

I don't doubt that there were Universities and even some people in the government under Biden who overlooked the antisemitic foreign students and their protests. But Biden was in Israel on Oct 8th ready to support Israel and condemning the attack. It also didn't help Harris that those same students, who you say have Biden's support, protested night and day against her, complaining about the Democratic administration being anti Palestinian. I think they are going to get more than they asked for since Trump's position is actually anti Palestinian. As much as I agree that Hamas should get no support from the US, I dont agree that Trump is more pro Israel than Biden.

I too am pro-Russia, as I am against the Ukraine war. And please do not paraphrase the NYT. That "media" is not exactly a reliable source.

The Ukrainians were opposed to the Ukraine war. Who invaded whom?

And did you know that there was a treaty, following Ukraine giving up their nuclear weapons, in which the US and Russia guaranteed the independence and integrity of Ukraine? (The lesson: don't give up your weapons for a piece of paper, and don't trust the promises of others.)

I guess snark and sarcasm don't work here. I am against the useless slaughter on both sides. I want this war to end. If that makes me pro-Russian, so be it.
