Isn't there irony in an Arab, Mahmoud Khalil, decrying the presence of Jews in the Levant (at the very least), demanding that they be expelled and then coming to the US, getting expelled and complaining how his rights have been violated?

He may be ethnically Arab but he shares the same delusions of every spoiled American "activist" from one of our upscale Islamo-Left madrassas: I have infinite rights and zero responsibilities!

These children really expect to denounce our country and campaign for its destruction, then get off scot-free by hiding behind the same Consitution they revile. How shocked must this guy be at learning that actions have consequences, esp after dealing only with Democrats, who would pamper him even if he put a knife to their throats.

You mean he just might be an Islamist settler colonizer here in the US?

Next on Tuckie Carlson Twitter is his statement in support of the Columbia Palestinian Islamist settler colonizer. It will have nothing to do w Tuckie Carlson's hate for Jews, so he will say.

I wouldn't be surprised if tucker carlson had Khalil as a guest, asked him softball questions, and steered him towards venturing an opinion how it was that valid criticism of Jewish beliefs can get a person deported? Just asking, not implying anything at all, tc will say, just interested in your unbiased opinion on how folk of a certain persuasion seem to have such incredible power and influence? Just asking, tc will smarmingly say while folding his hands and trying to look like he is asking a genuine question.

He's a highly credentialed member of the "brain trust." After all, he was Jared Kushner's roommate one summer during college. Maybe he can replace him with one of his former camp counselors or the DJ from his bar mitzvah.

Trump cannot deport anyone. A green card does not say "get out of jail free". Hamas supporters, the one's that tore down pictures of the Bibas babies who were murdered by Hamas, the returned hostages, both dead and alive who have testified about their captivity, the one's who were videotaped assaulting Jews, are CRIMINALS. Criminality can get your VISA revoked, your Green Card revoked, your scholarship revoked and it's about time. Support Palestine all you want. It's a free Country. Break windows, detain, janitors, send people to the hospital, incite riots? Bye-bye. Give us back all the hostages. NOW.

Great discussion on the legalities of the deportation issue.

Seems pretty simple for the Secretary of State to express that US foreign policy is to destroy Hamas and all of its supporters.

Bye bye Khalil.

You can’t deport someone because you don’t like their speech, if they are here on a green card. That’s a f*cking stupid and slippery ass slope if you do. What about when the next administration makes the rules. Don’t screw with the 1A. USA alone is the last bulwark of free speech in the world. Look at the speech NATO country Romania is squelching today. That is being driven by Brussels. Nope we don’t like the election result, let’s have a do over and this time this certain guy can never run again because we don’t like his (make peace in Ukraine) speech. AfD 2nd largest vote in Germany but f*ck those guys too, they can’t be part of the government. Don’t fall into trap of authoritarianism because you don’t like someone’s speech. I’m a free speech absolutist though, and seems most/many here are not. If Khalil violated an actual law (and not something made up) however, then out he goes. I’m not seeing that, yet.

Read the article in scroll before venturing a nonsense opinion. There is no first amendment right to falsify and lie on a visa or immigrant application. Framing it as a 1st Amendment issue is a red herring, a deflection, because admitting this creep falsified his visa and immigration papers is a losing argument.

What is the falsification on visa? If your response is its ’support of a terrorist organization’ then bring forth the evidence. ‘Support of Palestinians’ and ‘support of Hamas’ is in the ear of the beholder. Which is why we should be very (very) careful of how this gets adjudicated. We don’t want precedent set that can be twisted the other way, 5, 10 or 50 years from now. I say this as a full supporter of Israel. But as a bigger supporter of 1A.

It is the same legal analysis, but McCarthy goes into much further depth and explanation of the law and legal constraints. I was able to access his subsequent article on the same topic, without going into my account, so you should be able to read and not be blocked by the paywall. Here is the link:

First Amendment rights have never been available to foreigners in the US as they are to US citizens. One of the most notable examples was the Nixon Administration refusal to grant a visa to Pablo Neruda, Nobel Prize of Literature and prominent member of the Communist Party of Chile.

To this day, foreigners entering the United States must fill a State Dept form which, near the bottom, has a section "Totalitarian Governments", where the alien must certify he is not a member of the Nazi Party or the Communist Party.

Take a look at what a green card entitles you and what doesn’t as set forth in this article I saw a copy of a legal brief on another Substack page that clearly set forth very strong authority for deporting someone with a green card whose actions aide and abet foreign terrorist organizations

Threats of violence blocking highways and access to airports as well as intimidation of Jewish students go well beyond the protections of the First Amendment

If Hamas is considered a terrorist organization( which I agree it is) in this case, why are we negotiating with Hamas when it has been the US policy never to negotiate with terrorists? This case is a perfect example of a slippery slope. Who defines ‘terrorist’? Letting any government to change the definition at will is very dangerous.
