Biden and Blinken's appeasement of Iran based Hamas and throwing Israel under the bus as to what it can do militarily leaves the Israelis with no choice but to do what is necessary in Rafah on their own terms,.

The irony surrounding the US decision to build a temporary port in Gaza to bring in supplies is straightforward. Israel tried to do something very similar first but was a blocked. When Israel sought to bring in supplies from the sea, having been inspected in Cyprus, it was the PA that torpedoed the initiative out of “fear” that this was a disguised attempt at ethnic cleansing. How one might ask? By providing Gazans with the possibility of boarding the aid ship and head to safety, that’s apparently how. I assume the US has agreed to work to prevent any Gazan from taking advantage of the aid-ships to leave the Strip for safety and force them to remain in place to be available as a Hamas human shield.

War is hell and fighting Hamas is the same as fighting Nazism and the Japanese-you kill the ideology by destroying its military and making it impossible to sustain a civilian population not by sending it food in the middle of a war .Lincoln did not feed the Confederacy during the Civil War and FDR did not feed the Nazis or the Japanese during WW2
