Like most leftists/socialists Rodriguez and AOC love the Jews. The Holocaust Jews, especially the dead ones, the Jews for Palestine, and the Uncle Tom Jews that will dhimmi up to the Islamists.
The first segment of today's piece was pretty much exactly my attitude towards Ken Klippenstein. I will miss the scroll once it is paywalled. I am willing to pay $5-$10 a month, but that is my maximum.
I dished out the $ 205, 250 minus the discount, but I think this is a bad business decision by the Scroll. The majority of readers will pay up to $100 a year but not 200.
I’m counting down the days for when The Scroll no longer hits my inbox. The Scroll reminds me of how B1G and SEC Football and its leadership are acting. I can do without those conference sports too.
same. $205 (with discount) is too high, and way out of line with the 'market' (i.e. The Free Press). And I have ZERO interest in a printed version. If there was a digital only version for $10, then I would subscribe to that.
I continue to remain optimistic that Israel and US are on the same page regarding Iran. Only a Libya solution option vs kinetic actions. Park, Tablet, and subscribers, what are your thoughts with respect to how Turkey, Saudi Arabia and perhaps other nations see Iran getting a bomb, even a dirty one? Do they see that as an opportunity to follow suit? Or, see that prospect differently? If over the next week, Iran detonates a WMD, regardless of how powerful, that will be a disaster for the Administration and frankly the world. Let’s pray Israeli and Iranian opposition are totally on top of the situation.
I would be surprised if he didn’t participate in anti-conservative demonstrations after, e.g, a right-wing whacko murdered a bunch of Jews at the Tree of Life synagogue.
He’s a leftist, and they live by the totem pole of victimhood. Jews are above (people whose grandparents were) Christians, but they are still white, and they need to know their place. If they and non-whiteys want the same land, they are automatically wrong. They are to knuckle under, leave, go “back to” Europe, and embrace their destiny as leftist pets. They can hold cute ceremonies if they want, so long as they fulfill their function of saying “As a Jew, any European proud of their heritage is literally Hitler”.
please don't write columns where you describe Rodriquez as the one who "murdered" the young couple. You have to use the term Alledgadly or else you could be helping his defense re j
>But, Klippenstein writes, Rodriguez never expressed any antipathy for Jews outside of his obsessive hatred of Israel.
This is assuming the premise that hating Israel is in itself a form of antisemitism. Given the large quantity of factors that can cause someone to hate a country, a jump to one specific factor should at least have supporting evidence. E.g. If I say he didn't show any antipathy for blue-and-white country flags outside of his hatred of Israel, people would rightly call me out on that.
> Several friends and former coworkers of the shooter told Klippenstein that they’d never heard Rodriguez say anything negative about Jews, “not even in a joking way.”
I think you should also mention that we have messages from him expressing his hatred for antisemitism. People might now walk away from this post with the impression that there was merely an absence of jew-hatred, instead of a hatred for jew-hatred. (Not saying that by itself is a strong enough argument, just that it should be noted lest people are misled).
we are all anti semites now. There's two definitions of anti semite. Ours - the goyim I think you call us? - and yours.
Yours takes precedence because it is on the basis of it that you will act.
And you have set the bar so low that we all get included, no matter what we do.
In effect the real issue is are you 'anti-goy' ?
And you are, are you not? Simply by the definition of your religion - to you your reality?
And in the mundane world by your conviction that, as said above, we are all 'anti-semite'.
Most of us are totally apathetic and wholly ignorant as regards Jews, Judaism, Zionism, whatever.
But you are not 'apathetic' in return are you?
edit: I never completed that post. The whole thing is a bit incomplete, almost garbled.
I should have stated 'our definition' of anti-semitic I guess.
Well our definition is one who dislikes Jews on principle. ( i.e. not semites as such, the jews are not semites by and large: the palestinians are ). Blames them for everything, throughout the agesl, Conspiracy theorist sort of thing.
It is active dislike. Potent twisted mind sort of stuff.
My point is that our definition, our colloquial, our normal, our 'demotic' definition is not current in the discourse generally. Jews and our dumb MSM etc have managed to make their definition the only one that ever applies.
And that one, I said, sets the 'bar so low'. I mean that anything can be construed as 'anti-semitic' and is, frequently is. If I say I hate the genocide Israel is practicing that's 'anti-semitic' by your definition. If I say I don't like the local rabbi that would be anti semitic. If I said I don't like jewish bagels that would be anti semitic.
So low have you set it that anything and anyone is anti semitic in your judgement.
But in truth, I said, most of us couldn't give a damn; don't come anywhere near any kind of anti semitism. Which, to prove my point, it anti semitic to you because, for instance, it means we don't go around tearing our hair out and beating our breasts about your supposed holocaust.
Just saying 'supposed' is enough. To the extent that in Germany it can get you imprisoned I think.
And when you look at all that it is startlingly clear that you are anti goy (?) in practice as a norm and as a political tool.
Still a bit of a mess but I didn't want to rewrite the whole thing. Hope that makes clear what I am saying.
To get it into a sentence: Jews are clearly anti gentile by scripture and clearly anti gentile by practice in this 'information space' or 'propaganda space'.
No I do not and I wonder at posts such as yours that adopt that attitude in preference to straight, clear talk. In my experience such posts are usually supercilious claptrap being manifestations of an overweening ego meant not to add anything to a conversation or an investigation but simply to pander to that ego which thinks it gains brownie points by doing it. The irony being that it does precisely the opposite in fact.
My best guess at the convolutions of your 'mind' would be that you judge I am being anti-semitic whilst professing not to be.

I too will miss reading the Scroll. One wonders who Park's readership will be at $250/year.
I will not even pay that.
I pay elsewhere as much as I'm prepared to pay for people's opinions.
Most folks should be paying me for taking the trouble to read them.
Maybe I’m old school, but I find hard copy magazines much better. European Conservative, and Monocle put out some great product.
I also prefer hard copy magazines.
Just in time for the paywall, Park in essence slanders conservatives while trying to discuss whether the murderer is antisemitic.
Thanks for making the disappearance of this newsletter easier to bear
A paywall? Nope.
Buh bye!

Do you see the profound irony in your post? Apparently not. 🤦♂️🙄😂

Which is hogwash.
Projection is a hell of a drug, buddy.
