Our Establishment only needed to tell the truth half the time, and we wouldn't be in place where 1/2 the citizenry doubts a large portion of what the MSM now states, and especially in an election year.
I've really enjoyed these essays on political reporters - Norman Mailer, Tim Crouse, and now Hunter Thompson. This is real journalism, no longer practiced by the MSM. Today's reminded me of my first vote for president, for George McGovern. 52 years later, I am still proud of that vote, however fruitless the result.
