the ACTUAL story here is about how mainstream media lied about and refused to do research into someone's death in order to make a site with ~7000 members look slightly worse in the eyes of mega-mongs like our author
if the media will just blanket 'no, we're not gonna look into this' for that, imagine what'd they do for someone with real money?
One curious thing I observed about Kiwi Farms is that until recently, people would rarely refer to it by URL on other parts of the internet. It was often obliquely referenced, or replaced with a euphemism, as if it were taboo to speak the name the demon outright.
"Oh, yeah that person has hundreds of pages on the agriculture site", "you should see their thread on a certain southern-hemispherical fruit forum", etc.
.. maybe as a filter. Those that could find it had to really really *want* to find it.
1) in the period of time when Byuu was claimed to be dead, Japan's government have released documents of expat deaths, there were none at the alleged time of Byuu's death 27th of June (there were other deaths in 2021 of multiple expats, but none close the date given for Byuu) This means there is no official recognition that Byuu is dead, while we have evidence of 5 other Americans that passed in japan in 2021.
2) Sagal was a controversial figure among their own community for multiple reasons and blamed their homelessness just as much as the "harassment" as well as being shunned by their community.
Parents these days are not only going to have to keep their daughters "off of the pole", but are going to have to teach their children to not do anything that makes them the subject of a thread on that forum.
The byuu "suicide" was a hoax. While there is zero evidence he is dead, there is myriad evidence that he isn't. It was a plot to take down the Farms which did in fact suffer an immediate barrage of illegal DDoS attacks leaving it inaccessible for well over a week and costing Null thousands of dollars to mitigate. We still sustain these illegal attacks to this day.
As you said, it is a hell of a story, and no reporter has had the courage to go against the narrative and tell it.
Farmers work diligently collecting and archiving information on legitimately deranged and dangerous people- zoosadists, pedophiles, groomers; my God, the monsters who torture baby monkeys for fun. The Farms is the only repository for recording these horrors that many of these people not only try to hide, but have the power to hide through their connections in tech.
Again, no one has ever reported this stuff.
As others mentioned, Null has essentially been depersoned. He's been deplatformed everywhere, he cannot do business or use banks like the rest of us for no other reason than pressure from identity groups. KF is 100% legal and Null has never committed any crime, and yet, he cannot operate like you and I. It ain't right.

I am surprised to see someone do their own research and not just parrot whatever the media says: i.e. reporting Near's "suicide" where the only proof of this is a custom urn and someone's flimsy verification, and there is not a single American death by suicide reported in Japan for the whole of 2021, or more recently with Keffals' supposed Swatting, where they posted a Police warrant that directly contradicts the two or so different stories they tell about the Swatting as well as directly disproving it being a swatting in the first place.
The media picked both of these up at face value and runs them to parade about the evil Kiwi Farms that does its best to harrass people into suicide, with no real journalistic integrity. The media simply does not care about the real story (Byuu faking suicide for unknown reasons after extoring Null over $120k, as well as Keffals lying about being swatted and raking in over $80k in a gofundme afterwards).
The website's name being rather taboo is also something prominent: as you can see with the recent scandal involving Ana Mardoll, the transgender who was e-begging for money despite working at a kushy position at Lockheed Martin set up by their parents. The discourse surrounding this is plagued with people saying that you can't use the information that proves this as it was sourced from evil Kiwi Farms. Quite insane, if you ask me.
I think it is also worth mentioning in an article like this that Null's personal sacrifice for running the website includes being blocked off of every payment processor and service imaginable. He simply cannot handle money like the rest of us, and most companies refuse to do business with him outright.

Do be aware though, Near is a manipulative monster who has used blackmail and faked suicide to attack their enemies. Near is provably still alive, and it isn't even very hard to verify.
The cruelty on KF is the same you find in all social media, except on the farms there are actual rules and people can fight back. Try that with the endless amounts of stupid and hurtful things people say to each other on social media but are defended by society, the government, their church, or employer. And the Lolcows? Look some of them up, e.g. Yaniv is a serial harasser and racist towards south Asian immigrants and an abuser of the law who tries to get people to wax his penis by pretending to be a woman. Defend them if you must.

Null banned her from Kiwi Farms after some people on discord catfished her by pretending they were Null and somehow convinced her to carve Null's name into her thigh (she's now claiming that she faked the picture of this). This whole thing is obviously incredibly fucked up but I feel like there's some insights to be had about Null and Kiwi Farms culture there that you'd be better at teasing out than I am.
