It actually stretches back to 2014 and Obama's attempt to put one over on Congress with his Iran nuclear deal. It then morphed into the fake accusation of Trump-Putin collusion and only got worse with COVID and Biden. The standing law for well over a century is that even private censorship at government request is unconstitutional -- not to mention the routine domestic surveillance of political views expressed online.
Hopefully, once this case is adjudicated, and the government exposed as thoroughly lawless there will be severe consequences handed out for their gross abuse and defiance of the Constitution. Otherwise, they will never stop.
