I can’t help but wonder if the creators and purveyors of this junk actually believe in it, or are just in it “for the Benjamin’s”, as another commenter stated. Maybe a bit of both?
But it always comes back to the Left’s signature ability to create a problem/crisis almost out of thin air, so they can implement programs, policies - heck, whole bureaucracies to deal with them. It is utterly astonishing how rapidly the number of organizations, groups, agencies and what-not that seem to pop up out of nowhere on the Left by the droves for literally every “new problem of the day”, and suck up millions upon millions of dollars to “solve the problems” for what never existed in the first place!
