Tesla overstating ranges for its cars is just not going to impact world events (and is of primary interest to Tesla owners). In contrast, I haven't seen any mention of the recent paper describing superconductivity at room temperature and pressure--a potentially world-changing discovery.
There is an ongoing effort to destroy Musk. When he bought Twitter, he made public the correspondence between government officials and Twitter executives showing how they were censoring unacceptable opinions. He exposed the rot.
I've been driving Teslas since 2012. They are great cars. Don't believe the negative media reports.

Given all that was known at the time about Oppenheimer's many associations, his failing to report them, and making false certifications that he was not a member of the Communist Party, the determination that he might be a security risk was reasonable. Being denied a security clearance was not a punishment. He was never charged with perjury, of which he was clearly guilty.
