Thank you to Tablet for publishing my piece. The NGOs that claim to represent us are selling us all out to the Democratic Party elites while our most vulnerable members are being discriminated against and attacked mercilessly on the streets.

I welcome any comments readers may have. If you prefer email, my email is in my bio.

Why didn't your article state the obvious--that these anti-Jewsih and and anti-Asain hate crimes are being committed by VASTLY disproportionately black perpetrators? Until people have the courage to state the truth, there is no hope.

Mr Peng pretty much sums it all up here;

"A few weeks later, Greenblatt appeared on the popular radio show the Breakfast Club and made a fool of himself trying to discuss hate crimes without offending anyone. The comments section beneath the video, meanwhile, filled up with people spewing every anti-Semitic trope in the book."

Basically a pro BLM, pro affirmative action Jewish leader kissing ass as best he can and still getting totally trashed by the Black audience. The opposite would never happen. A pro Jewish, Black leader would not be trashed by a Jewish audience.

Trump 2016 caused a massive, hysterical, possibly unprecedented, nervous breakdown and existential crisis among our elite class, the progressive oligarchy that runs (and job-hops between) the Democratic Party, prestige academia, the nonprofit-NGO sector, journalism, Big Tech, Hollywood, arts & culture, and even the State Dept.

There are no longer separate issues or constituencies but a single overarching belief system: Social Justice. Social Justice is now the official state religion of the global corporate class and the upscale liberals that live off it. And if you want to work in any of these sectors, you have one simple choice: either be a True Believer and spout the same jargon as everyone else, or look for a new line of work.

That's why the ACLU no longer supports free speech, Planned Parenthood no longer supports women but "cervix havers" and "chest feeders", why journalism now is more about what you're NOT allowed to say or think, entertainment is constant Race & Gender propaganda, and why the ADL and the AAJC have abandoned their founding missions.

But the biggest problem for Jews and Asians is that Social Justice is essentially a fundamentalist form of White Saviorism (with of course Pride month and Transmania thrown in), and according to White Saviorism black/brown people are always only (and can only ever be) the Victim. So even if your mom gets beaten up on the bus by a black guy, or anti-Semites march through your neighborhood, the culprit can only be white supremacy, or some derivation of it, with Jews and Asians suddenly becoming "white adjacent" or "privileged".

You have become victims of your own success, and present a direct threat to the Social Justice religion by being self-sufficient and having overcome your own history of discrimination to succeed. This of course threatens the Soc Just narrative, which is that no minority can advance in Amerikkka until all power is handed over in the name of Equity.

Ironically so much of the Social Justice agenda is funded by wealthy Jews and Asians, who seem to have more loyalty to their own elite class than to any religion or ethnic affiliation. But as the new religion is much stronger than any of the old ones, and seems to be fueled by the intense hatred white liberals have for white conservatives (and their desperate need to paint them as evil bigots who need to be eliminated from society), I wouldn't expect it to burn itself out anytime soon.

Thank you for publishing this article but it has a skewed view of racism in NYC. Anyone who is white or Asian or white Hispanic may be a target for black rage in predominantly black or borderline communities. The Jews in Crown Heights, Flatbush, East New York and those areas of Park Slope that border on Fort Green or Bed Stuy are clear targets, however any lighter skinned person in a predominantly Black neighborhood may be targeted as well. Whether the perpetrators are Muslim, Nationalists, or rowdy boys makes no difference; if you, a lighter skinned person, are walking alone in one of these neighborhoods you WILL be attacked.

It doesn't really matter why you are there. As a visiting social worker, who isn't obviously Jewish (I'm Sephardic - Spanish and Portuguese) I was stoned, mugged, harried, threatened with knives, surrounded, felt up, and "escorted" to my destination by hostile black youth many, many times in a two year stint of employment. Later, when I was advanced enough for clinical employment, my morning walk to the job was quite dangerous.

Rage manifests itself. Until we clean up discrimination, it will continue to be a problem.

And your article yesterday Jacob Savage’s piece “The Vanishing: The Erasure of Jews from American Life,” just might be the important article I have ever read in your magazine. How Liberal and Progressive American Jews made it and then sold out their community in less than 1 generation.

The cycle of violence largely being perpetrated by black individuals now rampaging across America is the result of decades of Democrat policies marginalizing the black community through an endless series of hand-outs and programs (i.e. Affirmative Action), to keep them ghettoized and feeling “less than”; to proffer the belief that they are unable to achieve any level of equality without a hand up. Decades of sending that subliminal message is now coming to a head and the level of self-loathing and resentment within the black community is now manifesting itself in a rage against everyone and anyone they perceive to be “better than” themselves, instead of their focusing on what - and who - created that sense of loathing in the first place and taking a stand against it.

It is pathological but make no mistake: it is wholly a result of and created by progressive policies that focused on skin color rather than character.
