The biggest “Tell” with regard to the decades long struggle of Israel having to go along with the beyond stupid and utterly irrational appeasements of the Palestinians - time and time again - is the fact the literally every single other Arab state (as well as well as anyone with half a brain) knows damn well that the Palestinians have been a continuous blight on the entire region since forever.
The whole flippin’ 2 State solution is, and has always been pure delusion, and now especially downright suicide if Israel cannot stop it from happening via all the current deliberate attempts by the US, UN and Israel’s enemies are bent on fashioning in a blatantly dictatorial manner which they’re attempting to force upon them.
It is a terribly frightening place for Israel to be in now for the sake of its very existence.
