If there's one piece of dishonest propaganda I hope to see dead and buried after the campus Infantada, it's liberal journalists' (esp at the NYT) Pavlovian response anytime someone criticizes George Soros or globalism. "You are guilty of repeating anti-Semitic tropes once used by some weirdo decades ago, and thus you are de-legitimized as a bigot"—somehow promiscuous accusations of moral pollution have replaced facts and reasoned debate among our supposed journalistic betters.

This 6-degrees-of-Nazi game was always tired and dishonest but now you'd have to be the most shameless hypocrite to repeat it: so some congressman from the Deep South is a Jew hater because he denounced Soros, but the hundreds of kids outside your windows demanding the erasure of the Jewish state (what else does "From the River to the Sea" mean?)—well, this requires "context" and let's remember to uphold their free-speech rights, and besides "they just want to make the world a better place"...🤮

If you refuse to stand up to the Jew haters in your own office or outside your own windows, you have lost all right to call anyone an "Anti-Semite" or to pretend you care about Jews, especially when it's obvious to everyone else that all you care about is your career and making sure Biden wins.

Now that journalists have become political propagandists they've become just as dishonest and untrustworthy as politicians.

Hamas can hold civilian hostages in “population centers”, but Israel cannot take action in such areas to save them. And Hamas, after perpetrating the October 7 massacre, can take refuge in “population centers”, but Israel cannot go there to protect its citizens.

So Biden is technically correct that he is “not walking away from Israel’s security”; he is actively stabbing it in the back. Let's call this what it is: moral depravity.

Park, I appreciate the ongoing focus on Iran. It’s so bizarre to me every time messaging from the White House is published and they constantly try to beat around the Islamic Republic bush, somehow successfully bringing the gaze of the country constantly away from the second Cold War which we’re engaged against a state with a now ever advancing nuclear arsenal which we are powerless to slow. Dark times.

It’s not that the US is powerless against Iran. We could choke them to death if we had the right people in position to see to that.

It’s that the current regime in Washington, building on the Obama administration’s earlier efforts, is actively aiding and abetting them.

They have got to go - root and branch!

Or we’re all gonna pay the steepest of prices not just Israel.

Biden's support of Israel was always premised on the adage that "talk is cheap" and his poll numbers. The Obama directed appeasement of terror shows that Obama and Biden truly will throw Israel under the bus and defend it with specious statements by that of Kirby in order to appease Iran , Hamas and Hezbollah. Schumer's statement defending Biden showed once again that he is not the self proclaimed Shomer of Israel, as opposed to the true one and only Shomer Israel who uses the IDF as one of His many means of guarding Israel

Whoa!!! That interview re: “The Day After” was intense.

To me, it seemed only Michael Doran and Lee Smith were able to fully grasp the reality of the situation that has always confronted Israel, and what truths need to be confronted before imagining what the day after may look like.

The first problem is that when it comes to dealing in any way, shape or form with the Palestinians as constituted today, you’re just not dealing with rational actors, so whatever “plan” you cook up with them, especially as in any kind of power-sharing capacity, it’s just not gonna work, no matter how you try to dress it up. They are not the least bit interested in having “a state”. What they want is THE State of Israel, and every Jew dead. Their own words and the last 75+ years should contain enough evidence to support that fact.

In Iran, there exists an ever growing majority of its people that have had it with the tyrants ruling over them. It is not out of the realm of possibility that they could be supported covertly or otherwise to help bring about the demise of the current holders of power, had they more overt support from the West, the US in particular.

But that will not and cannot happen as long as the current US Administration and it’s minions populating the State Department exist.

Root and branch, they have to be torn out and cast into the dustbin of history before Israel, Iran or the the Middle East as a whole ever has a snowball’s chance in hell of seeing anything close to resembling peace and security.

In the meantime, Israel can only do what it knows it needs to do for the sake of its very survival. It has no other real choice.

Otherwise, we’ll find ourselves right back here where we started, only then it will be far worse, and quite possibly fatal.

Israel should plan accordingly and just carry out their mission on their own. Biden is threading an impossible needle right now to appease voters that are both Pro-Israel and Pro-Palestine.
